| NOTE : Frontpage can be very picky at times. In order to protect the FrontPage extensions, the most important rule to follow is to NOT use regular FTP programs with your Frontpage web. This will often damage the Frontpage web and will result in making troubleshooting Frontpage issues more difficult for our engineers. One exception to this rule is if you need to load your own CGI programs to the cgi-local directory. If you do choose to FTP your files up you may make your web bots inoperable and you may open large security holes within your website that will allow others to easily access your web files and possibly access sensitive information or change your files.
